Ghanaian top model and fashion entrepreneur Victoria Michaels, also known as Vica Michaels, was among the numerous dignitaries invited to this year's Austria World Summit.

The summit, founded by Hollywood megastar and former Governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is an annual climate conference that has taken place in Vienna since 2017, aimed at creating a broad alliance for climate protection.
It featured keynote speeches from several top dignitaries, including Tony Blair, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1997 to 2007 and Leader of the Labour Party from 1994 to 2007.
Speaking about her experience, Victoria Michaels said,
"It was an honour to join global leaders, pioneers, and changemakers driving real climate action at the Austrian World Summit, hosted by @schwarzenegger and @schwarzeneggerclimate , themed “Unite in Action. Eliminate Pollution.” 🌍
"This wasn’t just another summit for me. It was a powerful call to rise, act, and stop complaining. As Arnold said: "If not me, who? If not now, when?" I am charged up to keep making an impact through the Africa Literacy Development Initiative, the flagship program of @victoriamichaelsfoundation. With @vmconsult_limited, we’ve activated awareness campaigns on social media, especially through my platforms to promote environmental preservation, nature conservation, and healthy living."
Vica's takeaway from the event resonated with Arnold Schwarzenegger's mission for the summit.
"Whining and doom-scrolling won’t get rid of pollution. You have to get to work. Every single one of you has the power to be a hero every day. Cities, states, companies, universities, individuals - you all have power. Don’t complain about other people or politicians who don’t agree with you. Get to work," Schwarzenegger said after the event.
Speaking to YEN.com.gh, entertainment analyst Yaw Boadu-Ayeboafoh talked about Vica Michael's meeting with Schwarzenegger.
"Personally, she has a lot to gain from this engagement. Industry-wise, such meetings are also beneficial. As creatives, it's crucial to know that you can be influential in new worlds beyond your creative bracket. Creatives who think like that tend to achieve more and take an active step in reshaping what the future of the creative industry holds."

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Ghanaian musician Moliy had achieved a major career milestone, becoming the first Ghanaian to perform at the 2025 BET Awards.
The Shake It To The Max hitmaker got the crowd jamming to her hit song, leaving celebrities at the venue and viewers at home nodding their heads.
Moliy wore a sparkly two-piece outfit and white sneakers as she wowed the crowd with her unique dance moves.
