"@GhPoliceService I’m deeply unsettled by this. I initially chose not to respond to earlier comments because i do not wish to be associated with this individual but at this point, I feel genuinely threatened. @samgeorgegh, @mocghana I may not know the proper channels to report this but it's critical we take a firm stance against this kind of dangerous rhetoric being broadcast on our TV and radio platforms. His remarks come after a similar rant about Cina Soul in March this year.

During a show aired in the morning of March 31, 2025, the host of the MaxTV's morning show, Akosua Takyiwaa raised the issue about the singer's outfit to a promotional event for her album.

Big Akwes followed with harsher remarks, using unflattering language to describe her appearance. The panellists laughed and agreed, shifting the conversation away from her work and onto her looks.
