A Ghanaian man has courted attention online after a video of him feasting while mourning Daddy Lumba emerged.

The young man, a thriving TikToker [Obolo Ntua], is known for on the content creation platform for his hilarious videos shamelessly exploiting the stereotype about plus-size people and their habits.

In his video, Obolo Ntua was seen devouring a huge portion of fufu served in an earthenware bowl locally known as Asanka, befitting of his stature.

The huge bowl of fufu came with two hard-boiled eggs and an assortment of protein, including meat and fish.

While eating, Obolo Ntua said he was sad and pained about the sudden demise of Daddy Lumba, intriguing scores of netizens.

What happened to Daddy Lumba?

Daddy Lumba, aka Charles Kwadwo Fosu, passed away on Saturday, July 26, at the Bank Hospital in Accra. The 60-year-old highlife musician was ill for a short period before his demise.

The Ankwanoma hitmaker was married to his second wife, whom he affectionately referred to as Odo Broni.

He was survived by seven children, four with his first wife, Akosua Serwaa, who lives abroad and three with Odo Broni.

Before he died, the singer had battled multiple health challenges that led him to undergo surgery to repair injuries to his spine.

The surgeries were successful, but later complications made life difficult, leaving him bedridden for significant parts of his final years.

His death sparked nationwide mourning as Ghanaians of all ages and backgrounds grieved the passing of a great highlife legend.
