Dancehall musician Shatta Wale has added another expensive vehicle to his impressive fleet, amid scrutiny about his source of wealth from his critics following his 'godfather' Kofi Boat's arrest and impending extradition.

The SM boss took to his official X (formerly Twitter) page to announce his acquisition of a brand-new purple-coloured Lamborghini Urus, which is expected to be shipped into the country anytime soon from abroad.

He shared footage of the new car being offloaded from a long trailer into a huge container on the streets in the US before its shipment to Ghana.

In the caption of his social media post, Shatta Wale noted that he had purchased the new Lamborghini Urus amid the recent arrests made by the FBI in Ghana.

"They said the Feds !! So I got another one in purple. 💜💜💜."

Shatta Wale's acquisition of the new Lamborghini Urus less than a year after he bought the same vehicle in a yellow colour. He later followed it up with his expensive black Rolls-Royce Cullinan.

Kofi Boat's arrest: Shatta Wale addresses rumours

Following his 'godfather' Kofi Boat's arrest in a joint operation between Interpol and the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) on June 13, 2025, Shatta Wale addressed the rumours of his connection to the ongoing fraud case against him.

The dancehall musician fumed as he shared that he had amassed his vast wealth through legitimate means and that his success could not be associated with fraudulent money.

Later, in a TikTok session with his fans, Shatta Wale once again angrily dismissed the questions raised about his wealth and a glimpse of his earnings from streaming.

The musician claimed that DistroKid owed him an amount of $60,974.08 accrued from his streaming earnings.

Boadu-Ayeboafoh speaks on Shatta's Lamborghini purchase

Speaking to YEN.com.gh, entertainment analyst Yaw Boadu-Ayeboafoh shared his thoughts on Shatta Wale's decision to purchase a second Lamborghini Urus amid the scrutiny from critics about his source of wealth.

He said:

"Rumours are rumours and they can't be used in decision-making when the person has denied them. I think the timing of the purchase has been beneficial to Shatta Wale, as it proves that he is a legit business."

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Shatta Wale issued a threat to Dr Osei Kwame Despite as he complained about the latter's employees at his media stations.

The dancehall musician threatened to expose the businessman's alleged secret dealings if he did not stop his staff from mentioning his name on the media platforms.
