Ibrahim Mahama, the founder of Engineers & Planners, a major mining and construction company in West Africa, has presented Suzzy Pinamang, a student of Adventist SHS, with GH¢50,000.

Ibrhaim Mahama gives Suzzy Pinamang GH¢50k

The donation was made by Ibrahim Mahama's special aide, Rafik Mahama, on Friday, July 4, 2025, at the residence of Suzzy, located in Kumasi.

This comes after Rafik, Suzzy, and her brother returned from the UK to Ghana in the evening on July 3, 2025, after a successful eye surgery in the UK.

The trip to the UK follows Suzzy, an Adventist SHS student, shot in the face by a colleague, thereby affecting her eye.

In a touching video trending on social media, Rafik, on behalf of Ibrahim Mahama, presented a brown envelope of GH¢50,000 to Suzzy's family.

Before the money was handed over to the family, one man who was part of Rafik's team shared the purpose of the donation, saying that it was for Suzzy's upkeep. He mentioned that they wanted to ensure that Suzzy was okay and had nothing to worry about upon her return to the country.

Reactions to Ibrahim Mahama's generosity

Many people hailed Ibrahim Mahama for the generous gesture and showered God's blessing upon his life and his entire generation. While others were moved to tears by the reaction of Suzzy's family to the donation.

Others also envisioned a political side to the gesture, saying that it had won hearts for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), a party which Ibrahim Mahama's brother, President John Dramani Mahama, was part of.
