Highlife music legend Daddy Lumba passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025, throwing the country into mourning.
He died after a short illness, his family announced in a statement.
According to reports, Daddy Lumba was rushed to the Bank Hospital in Cantonments but succumbed to his condition.
His family has shared no details about his cause of death.
Moira Dawson-Williams blasts Daddy Lumba
In a video seen by YEN.com.gh, Kennedy Agyapong’s baby mama, Moira, slammed the legendary musician, accusing him of neglecting his responsibilities.
She said that despite public claims that the actress Efia Odo was related to him, he paid no attention to her.
Moira said the highlife great did the same thing with the late Anokye Supremo, a musician who also claimed to be Lumba’s son.
She called out Ghanaians over what she described as hypocrisy having failed to rein in the deceased musician for his "bad acts" while he was still alive.

Moira Dawson Williams blasts Kennedy Agyapong
Kennedy Agyapong’s baby mama has previously levelled similar accusations against the politician, with whom she has one daughter, Anelle.
She accused the former Assin Central Member of Parliament (MP) of disowning their daughter even after she met with him to reconcile their differences.

Moira alleged that the former Assin Central MP cancelled their daughter's Costco membership card and denied her access to food while she was receiving treatment in a recovery ward.
