Ghanaian media personality Deloris Frimpong Manso, popularly known as Delay, broke down in tears after visiting his home to express her condolences.

Highlife great Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba, died under tragic circumstances on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

According to reports, he fell ill at his home in East Legon in the early hours of the day.

His wife transported him from his home to the Bank Hospital in Cantonments.

Shortly after arrival at the hospital, Daddy Lumba passed away, sparking nationwide mourning.

Daddy Lumba began his career in the late 1980s after travelling to Germany, where he met fellow highlife legend, Nana Acheampong.

The duo formed the Lumba brothers and released a joint album before they split, and Fosu launched his iconic career.

Delay weeps at Lumba’s home

Following the singer’s death, prominent Ghanaians have been flocking to his home to express their condolences to his family, specifically his widow, Priscilla Ofori Atta Fosu.

Businesswoman and media personality Delay also visited to pay her respects on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.

Delay arrived in cheerful spirits, but was later seen after the visit breaking down in tears.
