Daddy Lumba passed away after a short illness on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

He reportedly fell ill at his home and was rushed to the Bank Hospital in Cantonments, Accra, for medical treatment.

Shortly after he arrived at the hospital, the Dangerous hitmaker passed away.

Widely regarded as the greatest Ghanaian musician ever born, Lumba’s death threw the entire nation into mourning.

Prominent Ghanaians have flocked to his house, located at East Legon, in droves since news of his death broke, to mourn with his family.

Daddy Lumba’s widow, Priscilla Ofori Atta, aka Odo Broni, has been devastated by his passing and has been spotted grieving as she receives guests at her late husband’s home.
