But while she faces time behind bars, an old photo of Nana Agradaa from 2001 has hit the internet, drawing attention for her bold fashion sense and youthful glow.
In the viral image, Agradaa sits confidently with her legs crossed, rocking a voluminous wavy wig that many social media users have compared to early 2000s “burger” styles, a term usually used for Ghanaians returning from abroad.

Agradaa's striking makeup, long synthetic wig and confident pose, seated cross-legged with a subtle smirk, gave off the same bold energy she is known for today.
The image reflects a young woman with a strong flair for fashion, long before her fame as a spiritualist and later, an evangelist.
Despite her current legal troubles, the photo has reminded many Ghanaians of Agradaa’s earlier days, before the “Sika Gari” rituals, before the church, and before the arrests.

Even after her conversion to Christianity, Evangelist Mama Pat was synonymous with her flashy lifestyle. The evangelist owns many luxury cars, including Range Rovers and Mercedes-Benz vehicles, and lives in a plush mansion in Accra.

Her desire for fashion, wigs, and designer outfits is always obvious.
Agradaa is also popular for her bold personality and often use of strong, sometimes vulgar language, especially when addressing her critics online.
Agradaa's fraud charges and imprisonment
Despite her conversion from a spiritualist, Agradaa, has faced multiple fraud charges and has been arrested several times.
Victims who once sought spiritual assistance through her “Sika Gari” rituals allege they were scammed by the self-proclaimed evangelist.
On July 3, 2025, she was sentenced to 15 years in prison with hard labour after being convicted of defrauding by false pretences.

Alleged victim confronts Agradaa in court
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that an alleged victim of Agradaa’s “Sika Gari” confronted her at court. The woman claimed Mama Pat had deceived her by taking her pot of gold and never returning it.
Visibly distressed, the woman wept bitterly and rolled on the floor while recounting her ordeal publicly, as Agradaa appeared in court on 30 July 2025.
The case continues to intensify as new allegations from supposed victims emerge, even after the court’s judgement has been delivered and Agradaa has begun serving her sentence. Her legal team are trying to vindicate her.
