On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, the comic actor stormed the central business district of Kumasi as part of the promotion for his upcoming movie, Captain Ibrahim Traoré: The Last African Hero.

In a viral video that emerged on social media, Lil Win was spotted on top of a moving pickup truck that had been custom-branded with the posters of the Captain Ibrahim Traoré: The Last African Hero movie.

The actor's bodyguard stood beside him to shield him from the large crowd that had gathered around the moving vehicle as he paraded through the streets of Kejetia.

To show his appreciation for the rousing reception he received, Lil Win took out some cash from his pocket and proceeded to throw it into the crowd.

As the actor carried out his generous gesture, an unidentified man reportedly climbed onto his branded vehicle in an attempt to grab the cash directly from his hands and make a quick getaway.
