Imprisoned Ghanaian televangelist Patricia Asiedua, popularly known as Agradaa or Mama Pat's church, has courted attention after a video surfaced on social media.

In a TikTok video seen by YEN.com.gh on Wednesday, August 6, 2024, the compound of the Heaven Way Champion International Church in Weija was in a bad condition following heavy downpours in recent days.
The church's premises were partially flooded by a pool of water that had covered most of the compound.
The Heaven Way Champion International Church building, which used to be a beautiful attraction on the Weija road, appeared to be experiencing some infrastructural decline, as several damages were spotted.
The compound of Agradaa's church building looked dirty and bushy, as weeds had grown and covered large portions of the land.
The current state of Heaven Way Champion International Church evoked mixed reactions from many Ghanaians on social media.
EOCO reportedly plans to close Agradaa's church
The latest footage of the Heaven Way Champion International Church comes weeks after reports of the building facing closure from the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) emerged.

The move was said to follow numerous complaints about alleged financial irregularities and suspected fraudulent activities at Agradaa's church.
According to The New Republic, EOCO had received several complaints from concerned citizens and former congregants, who alleged that financial impropriety, misappropriation of funds, and deceptive schemes were being operated under the guise of religious worship.
The news of Heaven Way Champion International Church's potential closure came weeks after Agradaa was sentenced to prison for 15 years for committing some financial crimes.

Following the conviction of the televangelist, her husband, Angel Asiamah, has taken over the reins of the church and has been spotted preaching before large congregations on multiple occasions.
He has also used numerous church services in the building to appeal to President John Dramani Mahama, his wife, Lordina Mahama and other prominent politicians to help secure a pardon for Agradaa amid her legal woes.
