Toke Makinwa on Instagram announced that she was expecting her first child by sharing a video of her rocking her baby bump.
In the video, she wore a striking floor-length gown that beautifully combines glamour and artistic detail. The dress features a sheer skin-tone matching base adorned with intricate floral appliqués in shades of pink and purple, embellished with sparkling silver accents that cascade down the bodice and skirt. The floral detailing strategically covers the torso, adding elegance while highlighting her baby bump.
The gown’s standout element is its dramatic yellow overskirt, flowing from the waist into a long train that adds movement and vibrance to the look. In her heartfelt message in the caption, the seasoned media personality mentioned that this was her biggest project of her life and the calling ever.
The biggest project of my life, the highest calling ever! 2025,……”What a difference a year can make”. That was my prophetic declaration entering into the new year.
Transitioning her touching words into a prayer, Toke wrote:

The heavily pregnant presenter thanked God, saying that his timing was perfect and that He made all things beautiful in His time.
Recounting some memories of her struggles with childbirth, Toke Makinwa mentioned that she thought God had forgotten about her and that she failed to understand why it took so long.
"This testimony, the timing…. You make all things beautiful in your time and this is just perfect. You are the God that will put his own reputation at risk just to save me, all that time I was convinced you had forgotten me,I didn’t understand why it took so long but now I see it. You worked on my heart posture to get me ready for the biggest blessing and the highest calling. You truly are the God of time and chance.🙏."
Advising her fans and well-wishers, the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) host said that God is never late and can be trusted, as she is set to welcome her first child at 40.
"Listen,……,God is never late, and God can be trusted. My healed pain will break someone else’s chain and that’s why you’ve put us on here to shine your light. My Season is here 💃💃💃💃💃."

Widow of Squadron Leader Anala feeds baby at vigil
YEN.com.gh reported that the widow of the late Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala was seen tenderly feeding their 2-month-old baby during a candlelight vigil held in honour of three crew members.
Squadron Leader Anala was one of the eight victims who tragically lost their lives in the military helicopter crash at Adansi Akrofuom.
The touching moment drew sympathy and prayers from mourners, as many wished strength and comfort for her and the other bereaved families affected by the devastating accident.
