Funny Face Hails Kwaku Manu: " When You Go Through Problems, You'll Know Who Your True Friend Is"

Ghanaian comedian Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, aka Funny Face, during a recent event, hailed Kwaku Manu for his key efforts in his resurgence.

The comedian, who had been off the scene due to his mental health challenges, expressed his admiration for Kwaku Manu while performing at the opening of Tracey Boakye's Casa Grande Rooftop Bar.
Scores of colleague filmmakers and celebrities, including Keche Andrew of Keche fame, were present at the launch event.
In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, the comedian particularly asked bloggers at the function to focus on his heartfelt message to Kwaku Manu.
Funny Face cracked jokes about the similarities between him and Kwaku Manu, which has kept their bond growing stronger by the day.
"You know, when you go through problems, you'll notice who truly is your friend," FUnny Face said.
"The Bible says, "Show me your friend and I'll show you your character, so if I went to the psychiatrist, he too has been to the psychiatrist. I've got a broken heart. He also got a broken heart," he added.

Funny Face speaks after reunion with Vanessa
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Funny Face had shared an emotional message online after his reunion with Vanessa Nicole and their children.
In his message, the comedian, whose mental health issues drove his partner Vanessa Nicole away, said he had learned his lessons the hard way.
Funny Face used the opportunity to apologise to people he had offended with his words at the height of his mental health crisis.
