Celebrated Ghanaian rapper Medikal urged his fans not to spray him with Gh₵1 notes during his performance at the Zodiac Party held on Friday, August 22, 2025.
The popular Ghanaian artist asked his guards to ensure that none of the people present sprayed him with the lowest cedi note.

In a video on Facebook, Medikal was performing on stage when a fan came from behind him and started spraying money on him.
The fan first started spraying Gh₵5 notes, which was greeted with loud cheers by the crowd. Then he pulled out bundles of Gh₵1 notes and started spraying them on Medikal.
Medikal, upon realising the change in the notes being sprayed, paused the performance and announced that no one should spray GH₵1 notes on him.
He added that God has blessed him, and so he is beyond the GH₵1 note.
“No one should spray GH₵1 on me. I’m bigger than a GH₵1 note.”
The crowd started to laugh after Medikal made the announcement. However, the fan who was spraying the money continued to spray GH₵5 notes on Medikal.

Medikal continued with his performance, and the man also went ahead to spray the money on him.

Abu Trica sprays cash on young musician
YEN.com.gh reported that renowned Swedru-based tycoon Abu Trica cosigned young Ghanaian rapper and singer Essumann.
The businessman was captured spraying money on Essumann during his performance at a nightclub in Swedru.
Abu Trica's reaction stoked a frenzy on social media.
