Renowned Ghanaian businessman Kennedy Agyapong, popularly known as Kenpong, has visited Daddy Lumba's residence to commiserate with his family after his sudden demise.

On Saturday, July 26, 2025, the deceased's family released a statement to announce his demise, hours after rumours emerged on social media.
Daddy Lumba passed away at 60 at the Bank Hospital located at Cantonments in Accra after a brief illness. His death evoked sadness among many Ghanaians, including his colleagues and political figures.
Following the music icon's death, many prominent personalities, including Kojo Antwi, John Dumelo, Dr Osei Kwame Despite, Prophet Kumchacha, and many others, have visited his residence to commiserate with his grieving family.
As part of the memorial arrangements, Daddy Lumba's family also opened a Book of Condolence at the private residence for the guests.
Kennedy Agyapong weeps after visiting Lumba's family
On Tuesday, July 29, 2025, Kennedy Agyapong, who was one of the close friends of Daddy Lumba, visited his residence in East Legon to express his condolences to the late musician's wife, Priscilla Ofori Atta, and other members of his family still mourning over his demise.

In a video seen by YEN.com.gh, the business mogul, sporting an all-black outfit, was overwhelmed with emotions and broke down in tears as he left the late music icon's residence.
The sad-looking Kenpong Travel and Tours CEO declined to speak to the media as he walked down the streets to his luxurious car.
As he approached his car, Kennedy Agyapong stopped to shake hands with media personality Valerie Danso before proceeding to leave the area.
