Veteran highlife musician Charles Kwadwo Fosu, popularly known as Daddy Lumba's first wife, Akosua Serwaa, has courted attention after an emotional video of her surfaced on social media.

In a video seen by YEN.com.gh, the musician's first wife was overwhelmed with emotions as she mourned her late husband at his residence at East Legon in Accra.
As she sat in her chair while in a sombre mood, Akosua Serwaa began to sing the late Daddy Lumba's 1992 hit song Owuo Atu Medunsini from the Playboy album.
The highlife musician's first wife, who returned from Germany to Ghana days after her husband's demise, broke down in tears as the song's theme about death emotionally impacted her.

Daddy Lumba's death and aftermath
Daddy Lumba passed away at 60 on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from a short illness while he was on admission at the Bank Hospital in Cantonments, Accra, for treatment.

Since his untimely passing, many prominent personalities, including politicians and musicians, have visited the late Aben Ho Ha hitmaker's residence in East Legon to mourn with his family and sign the book of condolences.
Former President Nana Akufo-Addo, Kennedy Agyapong, Pat Thomas, Kojo Antwi, Serwaa Amihere, Malik Basintale, Ofori Amponsah, Chairman Wontumi, Becca, Kwabena Kwabena, and many others have all visited the late musician's residence to pay their respects to his family.
