The two, especially Paul Adom-Otchere, were welcomed with hugs from his children and other relations they live with in the house.

After the hugs, his wife served him some fruit juice, fruits, salad, and sausages. While he ate, they talked and shared what transpired during his detention.

His wife mentioned some of the people who called to show solidarity and the help many people offered to ensure Paul was released.

Among those mentioned were former President Nana Akufo-Addo, former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife, Samira, Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, CEO of Jospong, Kennedy Agyapong, and Alexander Afenyo-Markin, among others.

Paul Adom-Otchere was invited by the OSP over a revenue assurance contract between the GACL and a private firm.

According to the OSP, the contract was awarded without the full and proper approval of the GACL board during his tenure as chairman.

His detention by the OSP ensued after he reportedly failed to meet bail requirements, specifically citing his lack of ownership of landed property in Ghana, a common condition often imposed in such cases to ensure an accused's presence during investigations.
