According to the school’s headmaster, the aircraft had initially been planned to land within the school’s compound, but he swiftly changed his decision after the pilot spotted schoolchildren nearby.
The headmaster approached the Pilot, Captain Kaliati, after the abrupt landing to ask questions about the emergency landing.
Captain Kaliati explained that the emergency landing was a precautionary one, which was prompted by foggy weather conditions that limited visibility during the flight.
