The two religious leaders appeared to have settled their issues as they had a warm interaction at the event.

Agradaa and Apostle Dr Isaac Owusu Bempah's encounter at the event triggered reactions from Ghanaians on social media.

Profile of Agradaa

Evangelist Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, alias Mama Pat, rose to prominence in the Ghanaian media landscape over a decade ago as a traditional priestess formerly known as Nana Agradaa.

Agradaa, who became famous for her so-called money-doubling scheme called Sika Gari, left many of her followers in disbelief in 2021 after she renounced her role and converted to Christianity.

The outspoken religious leader then announced that she had founded a new church, the Heaven Way Church, and was now an Evangelist.

She has remained vocal on social media, taking on some prominent Christian leaders, notable among them being Apostle Ernest Owusu-Bempah.

In March this year, famed gospel musician Empress Gifty Adorye filed a defamation lawsuit at the Tema High Court against Agradaa. Empress Gifty has made four claims and is demanding a sum of GH¢20,000,000 for damages related to slander and libel.
