Angel Asiamah, the husband of incarcerated Ghanaian preacher Nana Agradaa, got all eyes on him as he appeared in court for the first time since she was jailed for 15 years by an Accra Circuit Court.

A video sighted on the TikTok page of @tinababy showed the adorable moment when Angel Asiamah was seen walking to his vehicle after the ruling.

The crowd, apparently supporters of Agradaa, swarmed around Angel Asiamah and began showering him with praises as he walked to the car.

A relationship counsellor, Rose Aboagyewaa Adjei, in a comment to YEN.com.gh on the matter disagreed with those pointing accusing fingers at Angel Asiamah over the 15-year sentence handed to Agradaa.

As a counsellor, she explained that the case which led to Agradaa’s imprisonment dates back to 2022, even before Asiamah married his wife.

“Even before Asiamah, Agradaa has always been like this, so we can't blame the young man for this issue,” Counsellor Rose Adjei explained.

He stated, “We wanted bail pending the appeal, and the court did not grant it; that is all I can say for now. We will still pursue our duties; that is all.”

Members of Heaven Way Church are pleading with former President John Dramani Mahama to pardon the church's founder, Agradaa.

During a church service on Sunday, July 13, 2025, Angel Asiamah and the members of Heaven Way Champion International Ministries knelt to seek forgiveness from anyone Nana Agradaa might have wronged.

Angel Asiamah stated that God had forgiven Agradaa’s sins and urged those she may have wronged to forgive her as well.
