Who is Dada Lumba's mother?
Daddy Lumba was born to Johnson Kwadwo Fosuh and Comfort Gyamfi, popularly known as Ama Saah.
His father passed when he was a child, and he was raised by his mother. Lumba shared a special bond with his mother and acknowledged her in some of his songs.
Ama Saah was a teacher in Nsuta. She taught for many years but succumbed to death in 2001 at the age of 55.
Her demise was a big blow to the music legend who dedicated "Anidasoɔ Wɔhɔ Ma Obiara", "Ohia Asɛm", "Ɛmmere Pa Bɛba", "Agya Bi Wua Agya Bi Tease", to her.

In 2023, Daddy Lumba paid a glowing tribute on Facebook to his mother, 22 years after her demise. He expressed how much he missed her in the post.
"December 21st, 2001, is a day I can never forget in my life. A day the lives of your children and mentees changed forever. As I stated in my song, 'Makra Mo', if it were possible to die on someone's behalf, many loved ones would die in your stead. But this is the Creator's design; humans hold no sway," he said.
He further acknowledged the tremendous role she played in his upbringing.
"Though she may be physically absent, Ama Saah's legacy lives on, not just in memories, but in the spirit of the music and the man she helped mould. Auntie, you are fondly remembered by your children, Akosua Brempomaa, Kwadwo Fosuh, and Akosua Fowaa, as well as your grandchildren. We miss you! " he added.
