US-based Ghanaian journalist, Kevin Taylor, has claimed that he has touched down in Kumasi, despite several warnings from indigenes not to do so.

The socialite said he touched down in the Ashanti Regional capital on Tuesday morning, July 29, 2025, and shared a video of his arrival on social media.

His arrival comes after he boldly declared on Radio Gold that he would visit the Ashanti Region regardless of concerns raised by some residents.

Many people in Kumasi opposed Taylor’s visit because of his past disrespectful remarks about the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Ashanti culture.

A man recently released a video warning Kevin Taylor not to set foot in Kumasi. He vowed to deal with him should the warning be ignored.

In a video shared on X, sighted by YEN.com.gh, Kevin Taylor was captured descending a flight with a heavily built man behind him.

Many speculated that this was a national security official, but these claims have not been confirmed by the publication.

Kevin Taylor threatens Twene Jonas once again

Earlier, YEN.com.gh also reported that Kevin Taylor issued a new threat to Twene Jonas and his colleagues amid their ongoing feud.

The US-based Ghanaian noted that he was working on a plan to get his rival and others deported from the US before the 2026 World Cup.
