His arrival comes after he boldly declared on Radio Gold that he would visit the Ashanti Region regardless of concerns raised by some residents.
What's the fuss about Taylor's Kumasi visit?
Many people in Kumasi opposed Taylor’s visit because of his past disrespectful remarks about the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and the Ashanti culture.
He also made some insensitive comments against Kumasi traders when fire ravaged the popular Adum market.
He is also a divisive political figure, involved in legal controversies, defamation cases, and public feuds with other media personalities.
Locals are said to view him as disruptive, disrespectful, and out of touch with their values.
