UK-based Ghanaian man finds peace back home

The young man made it clear that, for him, the high cost of living in the UK made it nearly impossible to survive, let alone save money.

“I couldn’t even save £200 a month,” he said, noting that rent, bills, and other expenses quickly consumed his earnings.

The man told the interviewer he was on a two-week work leave when he flew to Ghana. That is when he decided not to return to the UK.

In his view, life back home offers better job satisfaction, financial freedom, and peace of mind.
