Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Sam Nartey George, and his wife, Veral George, are commemorating 13 years of marriage. The couple is also celebrating 17 years of love.
The outspoken legislator took to social media on Monday, August 4, 2025, to share a heartfelt message marking the occasion.

Mr George reflected on his journey with his wife and expressed deep appreciation for her.
“Today marks 17 years of our love journey and 13 years of marriage,” he wrote. “Our love story has been a reflection of life's highs, lows, joys, and tears. We have built a union built on love and respect for each other," he wrote.
Sam George acknowledged the important role his partner plays in his life, describing her as “a wonderful partner, lover, mother, wife, but most importantly, friend.”
"I cherish the bond we share and look forward to the next chapters of our story. I loved you that first day, today, tomorrow, and every tomorrow after,” he said.
The couple tied the knot on August 4, 2012, and have since built a happy family with three kids. Sam George, earlier this year, acknowledged how supportive his wife had been during some trying times.

Sam George eulogises wife
In January 2025, Sam George got social media buzzing at his vetting when he stated that his wife, Vera George, sometimes takes care of him financially.
His remarks followed a question from the Minority Leader, Alex Afenyo-Markin, about his second source of income.
Who is Sam George's wife?
According to her Instagram profile, Vera George is a past student of St Rose's Senior High School. From there, she pursued higher education at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), where she completed her Bachelor’s degree. She holds a Master's from Robert Gordon University in Scotland.
Mrs George is an entomologist and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) consultant. She is also a jeweller. Apart from these, she is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Dzata Foundation, the CSR arm of her husband's parliamentary office.
Often described as 'Ayigbe Toffee' by her husband, Vera George is an Ewe woman. She is the daughter of Lucy Tamakloe Akoto.

Victoria Lebene celebrates 6th wedding anniversary
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Victoria Lebene Osafo-Nkansah and her husband, Eugene Osafo-Nkansah, reached a new marriage milestone.
