A Yango driver, Frederick Adom Nana Defor, has earned praise after returning a missing purse he found in his vehicle to the owner.

According to sources at GHOne, the incident occurred on August 5, 2025, when one of their presenters accidentally left his purse in the back seat of a Yango ride after completing a trip in Accra.

The purse reportedly contained a substantial amount of cash, personal identification cards, and important documents.

Upon realising his purse had gone, the unnamed presenter called the driver to inquire if he had dropped it in the vehicle.

He initially said no, as he hadn’t noticed the missing purse, but then parked his vehicle to search for it.

Discovering the purse, the Yango driver immediately reached out to the presenter to inform him that he had found the purse.

He drove to the GHOne premises and handed over the purse to him. To his surprise, a team of media personalities were waiting for him with a gift.

Frederick, who wasn't expecting the gesture, got emotional as the GHOne team welcomed him with loud applause.

He shared a few words with them and received some cash as a reward from the media team.

"I would say that if it happens to anyone, the person should have a good heart, have mercy on people and do as I have done because they say you do unto others as you want others to do unto you. I didn't open the purse, but the person who lost the purse could have lost his job or something important if I didn't return the purse," he said.

Kwame personally returned the purse to the GHOne studios, where he was met with applause and heartfelt thanks from the presenter and her team.

As a token of appreciation for his honesty, he presented him with a generous cash reward and publicly commended him for his integrity.

Delivery man returns purse with dollars

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that a delivery man found a wallet with a considerable amount of US dollars and two phones.

Sadat Fuseini returned the missing wallet to the owner intact and was rewarded with a fully sponsored trip abroad.

Several social media users who saw the post thronged the comments section to commend the man for his integrity.
