A Ghanaian man had applauded the president for a job well done, giving an impressive 99.5 out of 100 in performance.

During a street interview, an unnamed young man was asked about his review and perspective on the six-month performance of the NDC government.

The interviewer asked:

"After the first 6 months in power, what is your rating of the NDC government's performance?"

Ghanaian praises the Mahama government

The Ghanaian began highlighting some impacts of the ruling party. He specifically pointed to the Free Senior High School (SHS) program, a flagship policy that has been a cornerstone of educational reform in Ghana.

He said:

"Okay, from my perspective, yes, it's done a lot. When we check free SHS schools and one or two things that this government is doing."

Though the FSHS policy had been in place since the previous government, he stated that the Mahama-led administration has added more value to it.

Close to the end of the interview, the young man asserted that he has no affiliation with politics or politicians, but he could observe the tangible benefits of the government.

Evangelist Akwasi Nyarko Begs Mahama for Help

Meanwhile, controversial gospel singer and self-proclaimed evangelist Akwasi Nyarko has called on the government for aid following a purported career downfall.

In a video making waves online, the gospel artist called on President John Dramani Mahama with complaints about economic hardship and neglect.

Akwasi claimed that he had been neglected after supporting the ruling party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), in past elections.

According to him, he is frustrated with his current living conditions and claimed he had gone days without eating and was unable to pay his child’s school fees.

NPP sympathiser, Sanimi, applauds Mahama

YEN.com.gh had earlier reported that Samini, a known NPP sympathiser, commended John Mahama and his government's performance within the first six months.
