Alhaji Muniru's friend of 30 years shares his last words to him a day before tragic helicopter crash

"It has been very tragic because, in May, he went to visit his wife in the UK, and then around the 10th of June, she had delivered a baby girl. In fact, the christening has not yet been done. It's really tragic. The baby is barely two months old, and in fact, the wife is alone in the UK. We are trying to see how we will get her around. It's really difficult. They got married on the 20th of April, on my birthday in 2022, so it was very symbolic for me. They have been away from each other since he has been in Ghana, and she's in the UK, and he visits."

Marshall Anala indicated that since the news of the tragic incident was disclosed to Peter Anala's widow, she has not been able to speak.

He mentioned the last visit his late brother made to his wife was in June this year, and hence was even planning a trip to the UK for his newborn's christening.

"The last visit was around, the last time they really met was around the 15th of June, and he was planning to go back for the christening of the baby. Unfortunately, this happened. It has not been easy. In fact, she's not able to talk, and looking at the UK system, where friends and family cannot sit with you, it's really difficult. She has a few friends who are trying to keep up with her, and we are seeing how we are able to coordinate to get her to really take things through, especially with regards to the baby. We are praying."
