He indicated that the late Samuel Sarpong placed a call to Ambassador Daniel Ohene Agyekum, a former Ambassador to the United States of America under the erstwhile John Evans Atta Mills' government, but unfortunately, the call was not answered.

"Honorable Dr. Samuel Sarpong had attempted to call Ambassador Daniel Ohene Agyekum. Unfortunately, during that time, Ambassador Daniel Ohene Agyekum could not return the call."

He then explained that other passengers on board the flight also tried contacting other people upon realising the helicopter was struggling to land.

The KMA boss concluded by saying this happened moments before the helicopter crashed.

"While on board and experiencing difficulty landing, they tried to communicate with those they could reach. All of this occurred just before the crash", the KMA boss said in the interview.
