A leaked audio conversation between the late Immigration Officer, Stephen King Amoah and an unnamed friend has surfaced online.

In the audio, Stephen explained how a huge sum of money belonging to his family and friends went into the possession of Bright Aweh, his suspect killer.

He stated that all efforts to retrieve the money proved futile as Bright did not return it despite various assurances, until he invited Stephen to a meeting, which led to his tragic end.

In the leaked audio conversation, Stephen's unnamed friend advised him to relocate abroad for a while, at least to clear his head. However, he said that was impossible.

Bright Aweh claimed to have connections with powerful figures within the government, and he encouraged Stephen to bring people to him in exchange for recruitment into the service.

Trusting Bright, Stephen collected a massive sum of money from family and friends, assuring them that their investments would lead to secure jobs in the immigration service.

However, things quickly took a dark turn. Bright Aweh failed to deliver on his promises, leaving Stephen with no answers, and the people who had entrusted him with their money now demanded repayment.

As pressure mounted, Stephen attempted to retrieve the funds from Bright, but his efforts were met with empty promises.

Matters escalated when the aggrieved parties reported the case to the police, leading to Stephen’s brief arrest. Though he was later released, the financial and emotional toll of the situation continued to mount.

Stephen was found dead and abandoned close to a gutter after he went missing for days. He was reportedly invited by a friend who owed him so much money, and that was the last time he was seen alive.

Although he claims he's innocent, Bright Aweh has been picked up by the Ghana Police Service and is currently in court helping with investigations.
