The story, which aired last week, showed the young lady revealing that she had been in a relationship with the elderly man for many years.
The broadcast, which included the lady's face and personal testimony, drew significant criticism from the public for its potential harm to the young lady’s privacy and well-being.
Minister of Communications, Sam George, was one of the first to voice her concerns, publicly calling out Lawson Media for airing such sensitive content without considering the emotional and psychological impact on the lady involved.
The Minister also questioned the ethical responsibility of the media house, particularly in situations involving minors, and promised to act on the matter.

"Unfortunately, due to an oversight by our production team, the lady's identity was not concealed. We recognise this grave breach and we accept our discretion in this lapse," a statement said.
