Abusuapanin Otuo Kwabena Acheampong, the father of the late Adelheid Babatz Nyarko London, has broken his silence after his daughter's sudden demise.

In a recent interview with GH Page TV, the father of the late senior midwife and lawyer opened up about his daughter's health woes and the eventual cause of her demise.
Abusuapanin Otuo Kwabena Acheampong shared that he had adopted the late Adelheid Babatz Nyarko London as his child after his elder brother, who was her biological father, passed away in 2019.
He also shared details about Adelheid's upbringing in the Ashanti Region and recounted some of the moments she spent with her late father.
Abusuapanin Otuo Kwabena Acheampong also recounted how he heard about Adelheid Babatz Nyarko London's passing and some concerning dreams he had about her before her tragic demise.
The late lawyer's father also shared details from his last conversation with his daughter before she passed away.
He said:
"I called her last Wednesday, but I didn't know she was ill. I got to know she was not feeling well when we spoke. So I asked her, and she confirmed it and told me she was at home. We spoke for about four minutes."
"She told me she had taken her medicine. I didn't want to bother her, so I told her to continue taking her medicine and take care of herself. I even told her to call me when she was feeling a little better. I also instructed her to inform her little sibling to call her."

Abusuapanin Otuo Kwabena Acheampong also shared details about the cause of Adelheid Babatz Nyarko London's demise.

He noted that the late lawyer had been battling with Lupus for a long time, which had affected her immune system. He said the health condition could only be managed and not cured.
Abusuapanin Otuo Kwabena Acheampong also explained that the conditions of a person with Lupus usually worsen when they get stressed, but his late daughter knew how to manage it.
He shared that the 36-year-old late lawyer was the only person in their family who had been diagnosed with the medical condition and that he was against her pursuing a law career due to the stress that could worsen her situation.

Adelheid's Babatz Nyarko London's sudden demise
Adelheid Babatz Nyarko London reportedly passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025, after a short period of illness.
She had previously gained prominence for being the first Ghanaian midwife to also become a lawyer. Her demise came a few months after she was called to the Ghana Bar.
Until her demise, she worked as a senior midwife officer at St. Michael’s Catholic Hospital in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.
