Ursula, the widow of Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala, was in attendance as the Ghana Armed Forces held a candlelight vigil for the eight people who died in the recent tragic helicopter crash on Tuesday, August 12, 2025.

The event was held at the Air Force Base in Accra to honour the memory of the victims of the unfortunate incident that happened on Wednesday, August 6, 2025.

The widows and family members of the three deceased military officers were in attendance to grieve over their great loss.

Peter Anala's widow attends vigil with baby

In a TikTok video seen by YEN.com.gh, the widow of Peter Bafemi Anala made a public appearance with their two-month-old baby at the sorrowful event in honour of her late husband and the other victims.

Ursula sat behind another who held her baby in her arms and patted her back as she and the widows of Flying Officer Mane-Twum Ampadu and Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah sat together to observe the candlelight vigil at the Ghana Armed Forces' base.

The late Peter Bafemi Anala's wife looked completely sad and dejected as she watched her associate cater to her baby at the ceremony.

Her appearance at the event came a day after she returned from abroad to mourn her husband's demise.

Squadron Leader Peter Anala's widow's appearance at the Ghana Armed Forces' Candlelight vigil came a day after she visited the flower-laying site in front of the Jubilee House in Accra.

In a video that went viral, Ursula, who returned to the country from the UK after her husband's demise, looked sad and devoid of any positive emotions as she arrived at the site.

She held a bouquet and broke down in tears as she mourned her husband's demise with her family members.

Squadron Leader Peter Bafemi Anala's widow had to be consoled by another unidentified woman as she got overwhelmed with emotions while at the site in what was a heartbroken moment for her and her family.

Sergeant Addo's widow grieves over husband's demise

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Sergeant Ernest Addo-Mensah's widow grieved over her husband's demise, less than a month after their wedding.

In a video, the military officer's widow received some guests at her residence led by the NADMO Central Director Kwesi Dawood.

Footage from the meeting at the residence evoked sadness among many Ghanaians on social media.
