PSG vs. Tottenham
After a 4-0 pre-season defeat to Bayern Munich on Thursday, Thomas Frank’s side now turns their focus to the UEFA Super Cup clash with Paris Saint-Germain, where the former Ajax midfielder is expected to feature.
Kudus—recently praised by Ghana legend Dan Owusu—made his competitive Tottenham debut on July 19, 2025, in a 2-0 win over Reading. He impressed with sharp movement and intelligent link-up play, providing the assist for the opener—an early glimpse of the creativity Spurs fans are eager to see regularly.
That assist remains his sole direct goal contribution so far, with subsequent appearances against Luton Town, Arsenal, and Newcastle United yielding no additions to his tally. Nevertheless, TBR Football reported that Thomas Frank singled him out for praise following the victory over Arsenal.

Kudus searching for his first Spurs goal
The Nima-born forward is yet to open his goal account for Tottenham Hotspur. Even so, his sharp movement, superb ball control, and tireless work rate have earned him plenty of plaudits, including Micky Charles.
Kudus’s ability to glide past defenders and carve out space has been key to maintaining Spurs’ attacking rhythm in pre-season. In the North London derby against Arsenal, he was arguably Tottenham’s standout performer—despite the match finishing in a draw.
In an exclusive conversation with YEN.com.gh, Ghanaian sports journalist Sasu Danquah voiced strong confidence in Kudus’ ability to make an immediate mark in the upcoming Premier League season.
“I’m certain Kudus will hit the ground running and have a huge impact right from the start. His pre-season performances have already shown his skill, creativity, and the kind of mentality that can trouble any defence.
"What excites me most is his hunger — you can see he’s determined to prove himself on the biggest stage. The Premier League is a tough environment, but players like Kudus thrive when the pressure is on,” Sasu said.
