From the very first whistle, the 25-year-old looked lively, driving at defenders and unsettling the champions’ backline.

Though he did not score or provide an assist, the forward’s all-round influence was undeniable.

He created one clear chance, completed three successful dribbles, and won a foul in dangerous territory.

Beyond his flair in attack, Kudus put in a solid defensive shift. He won two tackles, made six ball recoveries, and came out on top in seven ground duels.

It was the kind of all-action performance that shows his value stretches far beyond goals.

According to Al Jazeera, Spurs eventually sealed a 2-0 victory, courtesy of goals from Brennan Johnson and Joao Palhinha, a result that temporarily pushed them to the top of the table with two wins from two games.

Kudus received a rousing ovation as he made way in the 86th minute.

Meanwhile, fans took to social media to voice their outrage over James Trafford’s challenge on the Black Stars playmaker.

Many insisted the Manchester City goalkeeper was lucky to avoid a sending off, arguing the foul deserved a straight red.
